Something Behind the Door is a short, single player rpg about a girl named Olive and her fears.
The goal is to make it into 4 chapters, with chapter 1 being.... not exactly out but kind of out. it really needs a lot of polish, and eventually I hope to implement more art, replace placeholder assets and improve the dialogue.
My purpose behind releasing the game in the state that it is now is because I am only one person, and it would be nice to receive feedback about the game, especially when it comes to combat, pacing and dialogue. Playtesting the game myself only goes so far, especially when I know how the game is supposed to be played, haha.

Once you download the game, you should see a folder named "Olivia"

Even in this early stage I can see some nice attention to detail like in the combat skills, item descriptions and that door that let's you go up, all very good things to have in a RPGmaker game.
The story, as far as I can see in this demo seems interesting enough to catch my attention and I hope you continue working on this project!
